Jerry Bartlett Memorial Angling Collection at the Phoenicia Library
"BOOKS, RODS & REELS"

Tucked away on the second floor of the Phoenicia Library is the "Anglers' Parlor," a treasure trove of books and exhibits on fishing set in a rustic reading room. Initiated in 1995, the collection celebrates the rich heritage of fly fishing in the Catskills region and commemorates local fishing guide and conservationist, Jerry Bartlett. With generous donations from more than 200 individuals and organizations, the circulating collection has grown in excess of 500 volumes. Anglers can also check out fishing rods.
